EXPERTISE LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE. Familiarity with/ knowledge of Foundation Paper Piecing is necessary. This Block also uses y-seams for the centre, but gives easier alternatives.

This is an original quilt block pattern, designed as BLOCK11 of Dreamcatcher Dusk Round the Year Quilt. The finished size of the block is 18" square. If you prefer to construct only the flower circle, that finishes at 15" (diameter).

Like all other blocks of the Dreamcatcher Quilt, this is also a versatile, stand-alone pattern. You may use this pattern to make a table runner or cushion cover, if not using it for the quilt. The fabric requirements and templates numbering are provided for a blue aster, but you can make it in your choice of colour-pink, yellow, purple or in Christmas colours of red and green! Sew 9 Aster blocks to make a lovely 54" x 54" wall quilt. The options are endless.
