Day Seven – The Venus at Dusk

I waited till morning to photograph the Venus at Dusk.

That makes it three blocks in seven days. There is hope yet?

Slow Going on Day Six

At this rate, I will not be able to complete the pending blocks of the BOM Round the Year quilt before 2015 arrives! 🙁 . This is the progress report for today:
1. Cut the fabric for the Rainbow Venus.
2. Started working on the Venus at Dusk.

The Dusk version is halfway pieced and fabric for the Rainbow version is cut.

But actually, I worked on the block for only two hours, which included pressing and trimming after each step! And ripping – I had forgotten to press open a strip before trimming it!

Hope we are three down tomorrow! That still leaves eight blocks to be done in fifteen days at two hours per day…
